Port Macquarie Community Congratulates Arogen 28th September 2009
“Congratulations Arogen! It is great to observe staff with a good work ethic which must be largely due to a firm that values its staff and encourages pride in workmanship”
Community resident Mr Peter Longworth wrote to Arogen with glowing praise for the minimal environmental impact and excellent behaviour of Arogen’s Works Team at Port Macquarie.
Contracted by Country Energy, Arogen’s task included the installation of over 1500 metres of conduit in Ocean Drive, Port Macquarie NSW.
Speaking on behalf of his community, Mr Longworth sent the following commendation:
I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate Arogen and their field team on the great works being performed on the project at Port Macquarie.
I, along with other members of the community, have been impressed by the efficient and well organised way in which the earthworks have been undertaken along Ocean Drive. The field staff left no doubt in my mind that they each had a job to do, knew what they were doing and did so with pride in their work.
What did not go unnoticed was the excellent soil erosion control measures put into place to minimise the movement of soil from the disturbed areas of operation should run-off occur before the ground cover is restored. Although the project would be considered small compared to other major works being undertaken in the region, the attention to detail of the control measures is a credit to the Company.
The work sites have been left neat and tidy and the disturbed areas are stabilising well despite the prevailing dry conditions.
Yes, the construction site depot also reflected Arogen’s attitude towards visual impact on the surrounding environment.
Congratulations Arogen! It is great to observe staff with a good work ethic which must be largely due to a firm that values its staff and encourages pride in workmanship.
Arogen believes this community recognition reinforces our unparalleled efforts in the areas of environmental impact, sustainable practices and community relations.
